In 2013, Day Camps previously ran by GSWPA will transition to volunteer-led Day Camps. These talented and enthusiastic volunteers have experience organizing camping experiences for Girl Scouts.

Greater Erie Area Day Camp

Greater Erie Area Day Camp (GEA Day Camp) at Hawthorne Ridge will be back this summer! Join us for a great week of outdoor adventure and fun, one week only. Meet new friends and enjoy the great nature facilities at Hawthorne Ridge. Hiking, swimming, crafts, games, songs, outdoor cooking and more are waiting for you!

Girls Grades: K-12
Date/Time: June 17-21, Mon. 9 a.m.-Fri. 3:30 p.m.
Location: Camp Hawthorne Ridge, Girard, PA
Cost: $55 per camper through April 30/$60 per camper beginning May 1/$10 per tagalong (Day Camp volunteer’s preschool or male child up to 10 years old)

Blue Spruce Day Camp

Activities will include: outdoor cooking, crafts, hiking, singing, games and general fun at camp.

Girls Grades: K-12
Date/Time: July 15-19, Mon. 9 a.m.-Fri. 3 p.m. (babysitting available one hour before and after camp); optional overnight July 17 for Grades 4-12.
Location: Blue Spruce County Park,1128 Blue Spruce Rd., Indiana, PA 15701
Cost: $45 through June 15 / $50 after June 15 If a girl is not a registered Girl Scout, an additional $12 will be added to registration cost.
NO Bus Transportation is provided.

Burrell Township Day Camp

Activities will include: outdoor cooking, crafts, hiking, singing, games, and general fun at camp.
Girls Grades: K-12
Date/Time: July 22-26, Mon. 9 a.m.-Fri. 3 p.m.; optional overnight July 24 for Grades 4-12.
Location: Burrell Township Rod & Gun Club, 404 East Devinney Hollow Rd., Blairsville, PA 15717
Cost: $45 through June 15/$50 after June 15. If a girl is not a registered Girl Scout, an additional
$12 will be added to registration cost.

Lawrence County Girl Scouts Day Camp

This year’s theme is Pioneer Days. Take a step back in time as we explore life as a pioneer. Learn how to cook over an open fire, churn butter, craft your own toy, and enjoy the simpler things in life!
Girls Grades: K-12
Date/Time: June 17-21; optional overnight June 19 for Grades 5-12
Location: Camp Elliott, Volant, PA
Cost: $45 for registered Girl Scouts; additional $5 for overnight, $10 for Tagalongs (must be potty trained). No charge for Program Aides that volunteer for the week.

Deer Lakes Twilight Camp

This year is all about dance … each day is filled with activities, crafts, music and snacks.
Girls Grades: K-7
Date/Time: July 8-12, Mon. 5-Fri. 8 p.m.

Firefly Day Camp – Survivor

Join old friends and new ones for fun and games. Participate in Girl Scout traditions.

Girls Grades: 1-5; Grades 6-12 may volunteer as “VIP” aides.
Date/Time: June 24-27 (Mon. 9 a.m.-Wed. 2 p.m.; Thurs. 5-9 p.m.)

Warren Day Camp

A new and exciting adventure awaits you at the Warren County Day Camp. This year’s theme is “Gr8 2 B a GRL!”

Cost: $55 per girl by May 1; $60 per girl after May 1. Tagalongs:$10 per preschool-aged child or boys up to 10 years old.
