You’ve got what it takes to make a lasting impact.

Get started by earning a highest award in Girl Scouting.

You're ready to make the world a better place. Show everyone how you’ll do it by earning the Girl Scout Gold, Silver, and Bronze Awards. Each award will challenge you and help you take action in a big way.

Highest Award Prerequisites

There are a few options for kicking off a Highest Award:

  • Already earned the Bronze Award or Silver Award? They count—each award now leads to the next Highest Award.
  • Complete one of the new Leadership Awards.
  • Complete one Journey to meet the prerequisite (it used to be two for the Gold Award!). Any completed Journey will count, even after Journeys are retired on October 1, 2026.

  • Caregivers and volunteers play an important role in encouraging Girl Scouts as they work toward their Highest Awards. The Highest Award Overview training is a great place to start! This training provides an overview of the Bronze, Silver, and Gold Awards, including award requirements, the Girl Scout’s role, and how adults can provide appropriate support throughout the process.
