Want to have amazing days at camp but sleep in your own bed? Day camps are planned and ran by our incredible Girl Scout volunteers. Take a look what’s planned for this year!


2015 Day Camps

GEA Day Camp at Hawthorne Ridge
Put on your fairy wings, get out your pixie dust and fly to Camp Hawthorne Ridge! Hike in the enchanted forest, swim in the mermaid lagoon, join in exciting pirate adventures and make new friends at GEADay Camp. Enjoy a fun filled week because you'll never grow old at Girl Scout Camp!

Girl Grades: K-12
Location: Camp Hawthorne Ridge, 7755 Hawthorne Ridge Road, Girard PA
Date/Times: June 15-19, 9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Cost: $55 per camper before May 1, $60 per camper, May 1-June 1

Glen Oaks Day Camp - Broadway Bound!
Girl Scouts, spend 3.5 days at Walker Park where we’ll learn outdoor skills, cook our lunch, take nature walks, hike in the creek, sing songs, play games, do crafts and have lots of fun!

Girl Grades: K-12
Location: Walker Park, Edgeworth Boro, Little Sewickley Creek Road, Sewickley, PA 15143
Date/Times: Tues. June 16-Thurs. June 18, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. and Fri. June 19, 9 a.m.-noon
Cost:$50 per girl (includes lunch, snacks, drinks, patches, a T-shirt, shelter fees and craft supplies)

Penn-Wood Hills Day Camp - Superhero Academy

Join Penn-Wood Hills Service Unit for a week of training at Superhero Academy! Girl Scouts mightiest heroes will gather for a fun week of super training, where we will practice our hero skills, build super-smarts exploring science, and design our own super-logos, masks, and more to create the perfect superhero secret identity. In addition to all of the above, campers will enjoy traditional camp activities such as archery, hiking, songs, games, outdoor cooking and s'mores.

Girl Grades: K-12
Dates/Times: Mon. July 20-Fri. July 24, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.; Wednesday night sleepover for those interested; Friday, July 24, 6:30-9:30 is Family Night!
Cost: $50 for registered Girl Scouts; $52 for non-registered girls; $25 for program aides; additional $7 if participating in Wednesday night sleepover. (Cost includes food, drinks, insurance, program materials, camp T-shirt, camp patch and Friday Family Dinner.)
