Explore the career opportunities the engineering field has to offer and meet female students who are already on their way to becoming engineers! As a team, you will play a game of jeopardy that showcases most of the engineering fields. Try engineering experiments and work with the students to solve problems and discover new ideas. Learn about polymers while making lip gloss as you observed physical and chemical changes. You will make electrical connections for a buzzer and do reverse engineering by taking apart small appliances such as old phones, blenders, and computers.

These activities are offered by the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) Student Chapter at Gannon University. If you have an old appliance (such as hair dryer, blender, or clock) that is ready for scrap, please bring it with you.

The actual cost for this council activity is $1 per adult, but we'd like to offer it to you for free. To take advantage of the free council activity, use promo code FREE. Otherwise, thank you for helping us to offset this cost!
