Come spend the day serving and learning with the National Park Service at Friendship Hill National Historic Site! This park, located north of Point Marion, PA; was home to Albert Gallatin, an influential Secretary of the Treasury at the turn of the 19th century. Now the park preserved Gallatin's home and grounds, and teaches visitors about life in Western Pennsylvania after the Revolutionary War. Girls will spend the morning helping park staff to spruce up the grounds, then participate in a hands-on interpretive program with park rangers in the afternoon. Girls can work towards earning their Girl Scout Ranger patch. This event will be rain or shine, so girls and adults should wear closed-toed shoes, dress for the weather, bring gardening gloves and pack their own brown-bag lunch.  Girls must bring at least one adult.

The actual cost for this council activity is $1, but we'd like to offer it to you for free. To take advantage of the free council activity, use promo code FREE.  Otherwise, thank you for helping us to offset this cost!
