It’s Your Future—Dream It!
A Conference for Teen Girls
Join us, and keynote speaker Laura Miller, for GSWPA’s premier Girl Leadership Conference, It’s Your Future–Dream It! This day-long event is designed to empower girls, expose them to new ideas, and equip with them with the skills necessary to become the leaders of tomorrow.
The conference, held on Saturday, May 21, 2011 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Robert Morris University in Moon Township, PA, is for girls in grades 6-12.
Girls will participate in two, one-hour workshop and one, two-hour workshop at the conference. The workshops will offer opportunities to celebrate True Beauty, reveal real Media Messages, Cook Up A Storm in the kitchen, Kick It with self-defense and more!
Workshop presenters and volunteers are needed to help with the days workshops and events. Donations from community partners are also appreciated to help add to each participants experience.
