A WILD Opportunity For Girls!

Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania is offering 10 scholarships for Girl Scout Seniors or Ambassadors (grades 9-12) to attend the second annual WILD (Women In Leadership Development) conference, set for Friday, March 27 at the Ambassador Hotel and Conference Center in Erie from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

TheW.I.L.D. mission is "to empower professional and entrepreneurial women with knowledge, energy and passion." Breakout topics include: wellness, leadership and entrepreneurship. More than 400 women from Erie, Warren, Crawford and Mercer counties will attend this wildly exciting event.

Internationally renowned Keynote speakers highlighting the day are:

  • Dr. Terri Kennedy -- featured in "O" Oprah magazine, motivational speaker and success coach, Dr, Terri Kennedy is dynamic and exciting in her approach to life and wellness.
  • Jan "The Body Language Lady" Hargrave -- Get ready to be fascinated! Jan Hargrave is a renowned body language expert and will show you how to "read people" in a whole new way.

Breakfast, lunch and gift bags are included. In addition, women businesses will exhibit their products and services throughout the day, and there will be several opportunities to learn from seminars, panelists and individual speakers focusing on the knowledge, energy and passion of women helping women.

The conference is presented by Gannon University'sSmall Business Development Center.
