GSWPA Hosts Women Go Green: A Cleaner, Greener World-Making the shift!

Join Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania for Women Go Green: A Cleaner, Greener World-Making the shift! at Camp Curry Creek in Brockway, PA. This weekend long event will be held from Thurs., Aug. 11–Sun. through Aug. 14, 2011, 6-3 p.m. Participants may attend the entire weekend or choose from single sessions.

Both Girl Scout and non-Girl Scout adults are invited to explore the basics of Green Living—clean and green cleaning, earth friendly gardening, and crafting from recycled materials. Swimming, hiking, outdoor cooking, canoeing and field trips to local attractions, including the Quiet Creek Herb Farm, will round out the weekend’s activities. There will also be a book and magazine exchange, an evening tea and much more. Each day, discussions will be offered on hot topics like green living and how to go green without spending more money, plus earth and time saving tips.

Cost for the entire weekend is $45. Alternate sessions range from $15-$35. Price includes all meals, supplies and lodging.
