Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania Hosts Summer Girls Golf Club
Erie, PA – Girls ages 9-15, of all skill levels, are invited to join Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania at the 2011 Summer Girls Golf Club. The Summer Girls Golf Club consists of 13 sessions, held over a nine-week period, at Millcreek Golf and Learning Center, located at 3100 West 17th St. in Erie.
Diana Brush Named 2011 Outstanding Volunteer
Clarion, PA - Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania (GSWPA) lifetime member, Diana Brush, was recently honored as an Outstanding Volunteer by the Pittsburgh Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO). She accepted the award at NAWBO’s 2011 Make the Connection Awards Gala Dinner on April 20.
GSWPA Hosts AMAZE Conference for Teen Girls
Clarion, PA – Girls in grades 6-8 are invited to attend Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania’s AMAZE Conference. This day-long event is designed to empower girls to develop positive, healthy relationships and connect with their peers. Girls will also have the opportunity to participate in breakout sessions on topics like cyber relationships, bullying and cliques, stereotyping and peer pressure.

GSWPA Hiring for Summer Camp Positions
Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania (GSWPA) is seeking outgoing individuals, with a desire to work outdoors, for employment opportunities at summer camp. GSWPA camps are: Camp Elliott in Lawrence County; Camp Redwing in Butler County; Camp Hawthorne Ridge in Erie County; Camp Conshatawba in Cambria County; Camp Skymeadow in Armstrong County; and Camp Singing Hills in Venango County.

Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania’s Cookie Program is in full gear, with booth sales starting on Feb. 25 and lasting through March 13. All eight varieties of Girl Scout Cookies are being sold for $3.50 a box.
