Register for 2013 Volunteer Kick Offs – and Bring A Friend!

Jul 29, 2013 Posted in Home Page, Newsroom, Press Releases, Volunteer News

Volunteers – why should you attend a kick off?

You'll find the latest information from GSWPA & GSUSA to get your Girl Scout year off to a great start. They're fun -- events include info to make your Girl Scout year easier, time to network with other volunteers and GSWPA staff, learn about training opportunities, get MagNut and Cookie Program updates and much more.

Kick offs are open to all registered volunteers – so check out what's happening in your area! (You can also travel to any kick off you'd like.)

Bring a Friend!

(We always encourage our girls to do this. Now it’s your turn!)

Do you know someone who would be a great volunteer? Maybe they have a daughter starting kindergarten and would be an awesome Daisy leader – or they are fun and creative and could plan the perfect service unit event! Do you know a college student that could help with an after school program or a former leader who could come back as a service team member? There are so many ways to volunteer and we would love to talk to them about how they could help out! Think of that friend, neighbor, co-worker, parent in your troop that would be a good role model for the girls – and bring them with you to the kick off! Both you and your friend will be eligible for prizes and surprises – help them to join the fun!

Traveling GS Shops will be available at all kick off sites.

Registration is open now, so Sign Up Today!

We don't want you to miss out!
