Excited girls from Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania are making the popcorn for the big day – August 23 – when they will celebrate The Cheetah Girls One World movie release as part of a new collaboration between Girl Scouts of the USA and Disney Channel.

“The girls are going to have so much fun connecting at the party and doing the fun stuff we have planned,” said Pat Burkart, council CEO. “We hope this Indian-themed Girl Scout event, to celebrate The Cheetah Girls One World movie, will help girls appreciate global diversity and allow them to experience the movie in a fun yet educational way.”

This screening is the result of an exclusive new partnership with Disney Channel’s summer movie, The Cheetah Girls One World, starring former Girl Scouts Adrienne Bailon, Sabrina Bryan, and Kiely Williams, and was recently filmed in India. Along with promoting fun and friendship, this unprecedented opportunity will allow Girl Scouts to highlight diversity and culture to a global movement of girls.
“It is exciting to be working with Disney Channel’s The Cheetah Girls,” said Laurel Richie, Chief Marketing Officer, Girl Scouts of theUSA. “There is so much synergy between what we do at Girl Scouts and the message of The Cheetah Girls. They show our girls what you can achieve if you put your mind to it.”
Along with Girl Scout councils across the nation, we will host our screening party for The Cheetah Girls One World movie on Saturday, August 23.
