Girl Scouts Receive Medals of Honor

The Pine Richland Girl Scout community will present two Medals of Honor on Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at 6:30 p.m. at Pine Richland High School in Gibsonia.

Bethany Scheboth and Elissa Scheboth of Gibsonia will receive the Medal of Honor for their lifesaving award. Bethany and Elissa saved the life of their two year old sister, Jenna, when she was choking on May 14, 2008. Elissa removed Jenna from the stairs where she was choking and Bethany began the Heimlich maneuver to remove the candy from Jenna’s mouth.
