Cookies & Cocktails Happy Hour for Girl Scout Alumnae and Friends
If you know what a sitapon is, celebrated Thinking Day, still think it’s important to “do a good turn daily” and believe that Juliette Gordon Low is one of America’s greatest heroines, then chances are – you were probably a Girl Scout. What you may not know is that Girl Scout Alumnae (18 years of age and older) are continuing to remain involved by networking, mentoring, camping, fundraising and building partnerships together and on behalf of Girl Scouts today.
The Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania’s (GSWPA) growing alumnae association will be holding a social event on Thursday, December 4 from 6-8 p.m. at Shakespeare’s Restaurant & Pub, Olde Stonewall Golf Course, 1495 Mercer Road (PA Route 65) in Ellwood City. There will be complementary appetizers and soft drinks and a cash bar (for guests 21 or over). The evening will also preview the new Girl Scout Cookie for 2009—Dulce de Leche and there will be door prizes.
