Jenna Bekeny Selected as GSUSA 2009 National Girl Consultant

Jenna Bekeny, daughter of Judy and Frank Bekeny of Erie, Pennsylvania, has been selected as a 2009 National Girl Consultant, serving as part of an advisory board to the Board of Directors and the staff of Girl Scouts of the USA.

Jenna’s application, chosen from nearly 100 submitted from across the country, represents the standard of leadership essential to this important role. In her position as a National Girl Consultant, Jenna will be responsible for communicating with the National Board and staff, working on various projects and initiatives and interacting with Young Alumnae Volunteers.

Jenna is a sophomore at Mercyhurst Preparatory School and has been active in Girl Scouts since joining as a Girl Scout Daisy.
