GSWPA Announces Board Officers, Members at Large and Board Development Committee Members

Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania announces officers for the Board of Directors with terms ending in 2013. They are as follows:

Rebecca Dudenhoeffer, 1st Vice Chair, currently serves on the Board of Directors and as the audit committee chair of Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania. Dudenhoeffer also serves as the Treasurer of Early Connections. She is a graduate of Penn State Erie – The Behrend College with degrees in Accounting & Management Information Systems. Dudenhoeffer is a CPA with Malin, Bergquist and Company. She grew up as a Girl Scout and is a resident of Erie.

Stella Somiari, 2nd Vice Chair, currently serves on the Board of Directors and serves as a volunteer with the YWCA and previously with the University of Maryland. She earned her PhD from Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria, Nigeria. Dr. Somiari is currently the Senior Director with Windber Research Institute and is a resident of Johnstown.

Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania announces Members at Large for the Board of Directors with terms ending in 2013. They are as follows:

Lois Kuttesch currently serves on the Board of Directors and has been active in Girl Scouts for over 30 years. She is employed as the Assistant Director of Graduate Studies at LaRoche College. Kuttesch is a recipient of the Outstanding Leader Award and has been an active member of girl scouting for more than ten years. Kuttesch has a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics and Education from Grove City College and a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management from LaRoche College. Kuttesch is a resident of Cranberry Twp.

Diane McClune currently serves on the Board of Directors and is a board member for the Keystone Simulation Education Center, Health Hope Network, the National & State Nurses Association and is currently Secretary of Penn State Alumni Association (Beaver). McClune is the Immediate Past President of the Executive Women’s Council of Beaver County and member of the Institutional Review Board for the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. McClune earned her MBA from Robert Morris University and BSN at Penn State University. McClune is a resident of Beaver.

Stacey Robertson currently serves on the Board of Directors and volunteers with Trinity United Methodist Church. Robertson received her DO from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and her BS from Allegheny College in Meadville, PA. Robertson is a staff physician with Primary Health Network and is a resident of Indiana.

Ellen Roth currently serves on the Board of Directors and serves on the boards of Visit Pittsburgh and Pittsburgh Opera. She was honored as a Woman of Distinction in the “Professional Woman” category in 2007 and is a past board member of Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, Pittsburgh Council for International Visitors and Rodef Shalom Congregation. Dr. Roth received her PhD from the University of Pittsburgh and MFA from Syracuse University. Dr. Roth is co-founder and president of Getting to the Point, Inc. and is a resident of Pittsburgh.

Veronica Smith currently serves on the Board of Directors. She also serves as board president of Catholic Charities Counseling and Adoption for the Erie Diocese and was a volunteer with the Mercer County Blind Association. Smith earned her JD from the University of Pittsburgh. She is the Assistant Public Defender with Mercer County and is a partner with Bogaty & Smith, P.C. Smith is a resident of Mercer.

Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania announces Board Development Committee Members with terms ending in 2013. They are as follows:

Susan Morrow currently serves on the Board Development Committee and is a life-time member of Girl Scouts of the USA. Morrow currently serves on her Church Council and volunteers through her church, Blazing Star Choral Society, The Butler County Arts Council and GFWC Intermediate and Junior Women’s Clubs. Morrow received her BSN from Slippery Rock University and is an RN and the Senior Implementation Consultant with McKesson Provider. Morrow is a resident of Butler.
