GSWPA Host Leadership Breakfast Seminar

Canonsburg, PA: Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania will host a Leadership Breakfast Seminar on Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2010 at the Hilton Garden Inn at Southpointe, 1000 Corporate Drive, Canonsburg, PA. Registration begins at 7:45 a.m., with the program running from 8-9:30 a.m.

Michael Kumer, Executive Director of Duquesne University’s Nonprofit Leadership Institute and Associate Dean of the University’s School of Leadership and Professional Advancement, will serve as the keynote speaker.

Kumer is well known as an energetic and inspiring speaker. An exceptional facilitator, he is enthusiastic about leadership and organizational excellence. Kumer’s presentations are in high demand on the regional and national level.

Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania will feature two Girl Scout Gold Awardees, Laura Bertoni and Lizzie Fitzgerald, both from Peters Township High School. They will speak about the leadership skills they attained through their Girl Scout experiences.

Tickets are $35 per person. All proceeds benefit girl leadership programs in western Pennsylvania. In addition, one credit for ACT 48 can be earned by attending this seminar. All interested teachers/administration professionals may enter their personal identification number on the roster at the registration table to receive credit.
