Silver Award Workshop

Dog Sledding at Nemacolin Woodlands
Dog sledding is an experience for the entire family. Meet the exclusive team of sled dogs who are jumping at the chance to give everyone an experience you’ll never forget. Fee includes a kennel tour, sled ride and lunch.

Crime Solving Badge Day - Juniors
Girls Scouts Western Pa is partnering with the City Of Warren Police Department to bring you Crime Solving badge programs for Juniors. Girls will participate in activities fulfilling badge requirements for each badge and will received their badge at the end of he program.

2015 Game On – Pitt Women’s Basketball Girl Scout Day
Join us on Sunday, March 1, 2015 for Girl Scout Day at the Peterson Events Center. The game starts at 2 p.m. vs. Clemson, and special Girl Scout activities will be available pre-game and throughout the game, including:
• a chance to meet the women’s basketball, cheer and dance teams;
• poster making and exchanging sports-themed SWAPS;
• face painting, balloon artist and craft stations;
• a service project (drop off your gently used items for Goodwill);
• watching videos from the team and in-game performances on the court;
• concession stand with a Girl Scout Day special; and
• a special drawing for Girl Scouts in uniform to win a week at camp.

Tickets to this event are only $1 – a saving of $4 off the regular ticket price.

Overnight at the Museum
Come enjoy an overnight stay at the expERIEnce Children's Museum! You will learn about science and conservation, practice money management skills and participate in a letterbox adventure! Included is a pizza dinner, cereal breakfast and museum admission the next day so that the fun can continue! Every girl will receive a museum fun patch as well. (Adults must be registered and approved volunteers to attend)

Daisy Flower Garden - Journey in a Day
Come to Camp Curry Creek for the day and earn your Watering Can, Golden Honey Bee and Amazing Daisy awards! Girls will receive their own Daisy Flower Garden journey book to keep and complete the journey start to finish – including a fun Take Action project! Lunch is provided and families will be invited to celebrate with the girls at 4:00 p.m. and join the group for dinner.

Girl Scout Day at PNC Park
Join us on Sunday, June 14 for an afternoon of baseball and celebrate GSWPA with your family and friends. Wear your sash or cest to cheer on the Pittsburgh Pirates as they take on state rivals, Philadelphia Phillies. You'll also receive a commemorative patch on this special Girl Scout Day at PNC Park.
Participate in the following activities*:
- a group salute prior to the game where all participants line up on the PNC Park warning track and give a salute to the crowd;
- be a part of the color guard;
- throw the first pitch;
- catch the first pitch; and
- take the field to meet players and get an autographed baseball.
*Depending on ticket sales, some activities may not be available on game day.
