So, when we have a great program that didn't make it into S'more, we'll list it here under Brand New Things To Do -- along with your link to Register Online for that program or event.

These Things to Do are great for troops or Indie girls. Check out the program descriptions for more details.

Picnic at Pine Ridge Park
Join us for an afternoon of picnicking fun! Meet up with your fellow Girl Scouts and favorite counselors from Camp Conshatawba. Bring your own kite and picnic food, as we reminisce about our favorite camp experiences. Participate in our kite flying contests and enjoy some traditional camp songs and games.
Girl Grades: K-12
Location: Pine Ridge Park, Blairsville
Date/Time: Sunday, April 19, 2-4 p.m.
Cost: No fee

Outdoor Cooking Level 1
Level 1 Outdoor Cooking includes and introduction to fire building and fire safety. Under the guidance of a trained professional, make mountain pies for dinner and dessert.
Girl Grades: K-12
Location: Camp Redwing, 103 Rader School Rd., Renfrew, PA 16053
Date/Time: Sat. April 25, noon-4 p.m.
Cost: $13 per girl/$7 per adult

Zoo Careers
Come to the Erie Zoo for a day of discovering the ins and outs of working with animals! Receive an overview of zoo careers, practice animal training techniques, receive a tour of a behind the scenes area and explore all the fun but not so clean sides of animal husbandry. You’ll earn steps toward the Animal Helpers and Voice for Animals badges, while thinking about possible Take Action Projects to support your animal friends. We will bring animal visitors to the classroom as we learn all about animal careers.
Girl Grades: 6-12
Location: Erie Zoo, 423 W. 38th St., Erie, PA 16508
Date/Time: Sun. May 3, 1-4 p.m.

Girl Scout Day at PNC Park
Join us on Sunday, June 14 for an afternoon of baseball and celebrate GSWPA with your family and friends. Wear your sash or cest to cheer on the Pittsburgh Pirates as they take on state rivals, Philadelphia Phillies. You'll also receive a commemorative patch on this special Girl Scout Day at PNC Park.
Participate in the following activities*:
- a group salute prior to the game where all participants line up on the PNC Park warning track and give a salute to the crowd;
- be a part of the color guard;
- throw the first pitch;
- catch the first pitch; and
- take the field to meet players and get an autographed baseball.
*Depending on ticket sales, some activities may not be available on game day.

Programs can be chosen from the list here or you can work with council staff to design a program that meets your unique or specific needs. To register for a program by request, follow the instructions on page 42. To create your own unique program, e-mail us or call 800-248-3355 ext 1007.
