    Erie Dance Conservatory presents the magical story of Cinderella*. Watch this beloved fairy tale unfold with the evil stepmother, wicked step-sisters, fairy godmother and glass slipper. Meet the dancers and get a tour backstage. Juniors should be thinking about the aMUSE Journey and the roles the dancers play. *Each Erie Dance Conservatory class is performing separately with a Cinderella theme as their end of the year presentation.

  • Girl Scout Day at PNC Park

    Registration Deadline: Register by Thursday, April 30 to receive this early bird discounted pricing and for the opportunity to go on the field at PNC Park to be recognized during a special salute to GSWPA. *Beginning May 1 ticket pricing is subject to real time pricing policies and is subject to change.

    Join us on Sunday, June 14 for an afternoon of baseball and celebrate GSWPA with your family and friends. Wear your sash or cest to cheer on the Pittsburgh Pirates as they take on state rivals, Philadelphia Phillies. You'll also receive a commemorative patch on this special Girl Scout Day at PNC Park.

    Participate in the following activities*:
    - a group salute prior to the game where all participants line up on thePNC Park warning track and give a salute to the crowd;
    - be a part of the color guard;
    - throw the first pitch;
    - catch the first pitch; and
    - take the field to meet players and get an autographed baseball.
    *Depending on ticket sales, some activities may not be available on game day.

    **From 10 a.m.-1 p.m. the Pittsburgh Shop will be open prior to game time. Stop in and shop before the game!

  • Girl Scout Day at Kennywood

    Girl Grades: K-12 and families
    Location: 4800 Kennywood Blvd, West Mifflin, PA 15122
    Time: Park open - park close
    Cost: $24 per girl

    Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania will host their annual Kennywood day “Girl Scouts Race to Amaze” on Tuesday, Aug 11, 2015. Tickets for Girl Scout Kennywood Day are only $24.00 and can be purchased and picked up at ANY of the Council shops. If you cannot come to a council shop, you can go on the WPA Girl Scout web site, click on the Kennywood link and you will be able to order and print your tickets at a cost of $25.25. Girl Scout tickets are good any weekday until the end of August and for an additional cost, they can be used on weekends. The park opens at 10:30 a.m.; rides begin at 11 a.m.

    Featured this year will be:

    Swaps: Make It-Swap It – girls will have the opportunity to make 3 swaps to trade with others at the “SWAP MEET”. or girls can bring their own for even more swapping!

    Sing-a-Long: Join the fun at the Kennyville stage for a group sing-a-long. Troops can take part by performing skits.

    Welcome Booth: Check in on arrival for added games and information for both girls and adults.

    Parade: Girls are to march in the Fall Fantasy Parade and just need to wear a Girl Scout T-shirt or their sash or vest. Troops are also encouraged to create a troop banner to carry in the parade.

    Hospitality & Displays: Stop by the Café Patio and visit with old friends and make new friends – a great time to share ideas and activities with others.

    Special Activity: “The Amazing Girl Scout Race”– come join us for an amazing race around Kennywood Park. We need teams made up of 2 GIRLS each to compete in fun-loving activities. Please meet at our hospitality area in front of the café/dining room at 1:30PM to pick up your first clue and begin the race. NO ADULTS. Teams will need to provide a name for their team and select their color for their team.
