Ready for a challenge? Join us as we travel far north to Maine and visit Baxter State Park, home to the highest mountain in Maine at 5,268 feet, Mt. Katahdin. Named Katahdin by the Penobscot Native Americans, the term means “The Greatest Mountain.” We will challenge ourselves to climb to the top of Katahdin which is the northern terminus of the Appalachian Trail! Girls interested in this trip must have successfully completed the prerequisite testing camp at Camp Elliott on April 20-21.
