Calling all girls who love the outdoors and are interested in expanding their knowledge of the wild and improving their leadership skills! Join the L.H.H. Ranger program to increase your fire building, campfire cooking, Leave No Trace and wildlife identification skills, and learn how to teach those skills to younger Girl Scouts. Learn how to present your newly acquired knowledge and share your love of the outdoors with younger girls as you lead the Nature Day programs at Camp Roy Weller. Participate in the great service projects at camp to ensure the enjoyment of the area by others for years to come. To earn the Ranger Bar, girls must attend two camping weekends and a weeklong camp in June, as well as participate in four Nature Days.
Requirements can be fulfilled over multiple years. Sixth graders are welcome to come and shadow a Nature Day to find out more about being a Ranger.
