Outdoor Service: Trail Marking at Camp Skymeadow (Daisies and Brownies) 11-09-19

Are you looking for a way to give back to GSWPA camps? Or maybe just trying to get some service hours in the outdoors? Then look no further! For this program, girls will help hang trail markers at Camp Skymeadow and gain valuable working experience outdoors. Help make Camp Skymeadow a more enjoyable place for your sister Girl Scouts while also earning service hours for the Girl Scouts Outdoor Award: Service to Outdoors. Hot chocolate will be provided to all those who help. Girls must attend with an approved volunteer. Dress for the weather, as the event is rain or shine! Registration Deadline:11-06-19

Constellation Celebration Jr 11-09-19

Calling all Daisies and Brownies! Do your eyes tend to drift skyward? Do you love stargazing, meteor showers, and galaxies from far, far away? Then come out to Camp Skymeadow for this space-tacular program! Learn out-of-this-world space facts and all about our own little corner of the galaxy, the Milky Way. Girls must attend with an approved volunteer. No food will be provided at this event, so participants are encouraged to bring their own snacks if they so desire. Girls will get their level's Space Science badge as part of the event. Registration Deadline: October 31, 2019

"Calling all Juniors, Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors! Do your eyes tend to drift skyward? Do you love stargazing, meteor showers, and galaxies from far, far away? Then come out to Camp Skymeadow for this space-tacular program! Learn out-of-this-world space facts and all about our own little corner of the galaxy, the Milky Way. Then as night falls, look to the sky for a variety of easy-to-identify constellations, and use a telescope to see some planets and stars up close and personal. To wrap up, play space explorer by building, decorating, and shooting off your very own rocket!  Girls must attend with an approved volunteer.  Fee includes overnight accommodations, continental breakfast, lunch, staff-led activities, and the appropriate Space Science badge." First Time Camper Overnight: Buddy Camper & Cabin Camper 01-10-20

Are you a Daisy or Brownie who's looking to launch your career in outdoor adventuring? Never been camping before? Then this is the overnight experience for you! Join other first-time campers for fun activities and to learn Girl Scout camp traditions, from exploring nature, singing songs, and making s’mores. Participants will earn their Daisy Buddy Camper or Brownie Cabin Camper badge. Fee includes overnight accommodations in a lodge, s'mores, continental breakfast, lunch, and one badge per girl. GSWPA staff member will be available for check in, evening campfire (weather permitting), songs, and s'mores. The staff member will return the next morning for badge activities. Girls must attend with an approved volunteer. Please note that troops are welcome to sign up together, but will share lodge space with other girls and/or troops. Each troop should make sure they meet the Volunteer to Girl Ratio required for their troop participants and that at least one volunteer is certified in First Aid/CPR/AED. Registration Deadline: 12-30-19

Earth Day Festival at Camp Skymeadow 04-25-20

Girls and volunteers of all ages are invited to celebrate Earth Day with GSWPA at our festival! Learn to reduce, reuse, and recycle while visiting booths focused on our planet and ways to protect it. Celebrate our Earth with fun crafts and activities, from making a recycled art project to identifying animal tracks. Booths will be hosted by a variety of program partners, GSWPA staff, and volunteers. Girls must attend with an adult. No food will be provided at this event, so participants are encouraged to bring their own snacks if they so desire. Girls will get an Earth Day fun patch as part of the event. Registration Deadline: 04-16-20

First Time Camper Overnight: Eco Learner & Eco Friend 04-25-20

SWAPS Convention 05-16-20

Have you ever seen a Girl Scout with a really cool little pin or knick knack, asked her what it was, and she's said, "It's a SWAP!"? Well now's your chance to get your own! Come to GSWPA's SWAPS Convention to craft some special gifts for your fellow Girl Scouts. Bring your own materials to make your favorite SWAPS, or borrow some of our materials and ideas, then make a new friend by swapping SWAPS! Girls must attend with an adult. No food will be provided at this event, so participants are encouraged to bring their own snacks if they so desire.  Registration Deadline: 05-07-20

Registration Confirmation

You'll see a detailed receipt on your screen upon completion of the registration process. This receipt is your activity registration confirmation. If you do not see a detailed receipt, you have not fully completed the registration process. If this happens to you, please contact Customer Care at customercare@gswpa.org for assistance. For some council activities, you will receive a confirmation letter via email with more activity information.

To view a list of your current activity registrations, log in to your MyGS and click MyActivities. Clicking the information icon next to each activity will provide you additional information.

Refunds & Cancellations

Refunds will be given when:

  • GSWPA cancels council activity
  • Financial Assistance is not awarded and the registrant has made a partial payment
  • Registrant cancels their registration
    1. By the posted registration deadline for programs/training
    2. After May 15th for ALL summer camp sessions, refund requests submitted after registration deadlines will result in forfeiture of ANY monies paid.

Refund requests submitted after these deadlines will be considered when a registrant cancels due to illness, family illness, or family emergency and approved by Council.

Refunds will NOT be given for deposits, late arrivals, early departures, no shows, or participants who leave due to behavior or due to dissatisfaction. Financial Aid will not be refunded to members upon cancellation of activity.

Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Refunds could take up to 30 days to process.

Note: If you want to transfer your registration to another member, please use the Transfer Request Form.

If you would like to request a refund, please complete the Activity Cancellation and Refund Request Form

Transfers

If you can’t attend a council activity for which you registered and for which you paid fully, you can request that the registration be transferred to another active member of Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania. To make this request, complete the Transfer Registration Request form. Requests must be submitted at least 3 business days before the council activity. Note: Financial Aid cannot be transferred.

Late Registration and Late Payment

To ensure that we have the proper amount of supplies and adult supervision available, we do not allow registrations to be processed after the posted registration deadline with the exception of waitlist registrations. Registrants who are on a waitlist will have their registration processed if a spot opens up after the registration deadline. The registration deadline that is listed with the council activity is the last date that you can register for the council activity.

If you have not paid in full by the registration deadline, your registration may be cancelled and partial payment may not be refunded.
