Leadership Summit

Leadership Summit 2020 is a new volunteer event that takes all the amazing resources from our annual Fall Kick Off and combines them with the Outdoor Training Summit to offer an exciting day of learning guided by our expert staff. Not only will you walk away with great ideas to jump-start your Girl Scout year, but you’ll be entered in a drawing to win one of 15 volunteer 2020-2021 memberships or $25 membership reimbursement if you’ve already renewed or are a lifetime member!

The Leadership Summit will take place on Saturday, August 29, 2020 from 9:30am - 3:45pm and will be entirely virtual! See below for the time blocks for each session:

Opening Session:       9:30 AM – 10:00 AM
Session 1:                   10:00 AM – 10:45 AM
Session 2:                  11:00 AM – 11:45 AM
LUNCH (ON YOUR OWN)    12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
Session 3:                  1:00 PM – 1:45 PM
Session 4:                   2:00 PM – 2:45 PM
Session 5:                   3:00 PM – 3:45 PM

Attending each time block is not required so you will have the flexibility to join sessions when it’s convenient for you, and you have option of selecting from a variety of sessions that cover topics like event planning, troop management, finances, outdoor activities, and so much more!

This event is for ALL GSWPA volunteers!

Whether you are a new volunteer or have been with GSWPA for years, there will something available for everyone during this year's virtual sessions designed to prepare you and your volunteer team for another amazing year with your girls. There will even be a virtual Show and Tell!

Steps to Attend:

  1.  Register by August 26, 2020
  2. Check out your confirmation letter in "MyGS" that includes links  for the various sessions* offered at the Leadership Summit
  3. Choose the sessions you would like to attend
  4. Check your email for registration links for each of the sessions you selected
  5. Register for each session
  6. Check your email for session registration confirmation with links to join each session

Service Unit Show and Tell! 

Interested in a chance to win $100 for your Service Unit? We want to hear from you, our Service Unit volunteers, about the amazing work that you’ve done this year! As part of this event, we plan to spotlight creative events, programs, or actions organized by Service Units and showcase them during a special virtual Show and Tell. 

Submit an entry for our Service Unit Show & Tell by August 14.

Come back to this page Thursday, Aug. 27 through midnight on Monday, August 31 to view all the Service Unit submissions and vote on your favorite.

Stay tuned to this page for submission videos and the voting link! The Service Unit with the most votes will win $100.
