We are so excited to bring back the Great Getaway Weekend June 2-4, 2023 at beautiful Camp Hawthorne Ridge near Erie, PA! We can’t wait to share some of “Our Favorite Things” with you! We hope you will take this opportunity to enjoy a fun, relaxing, and an educational weekend full of crafts, learning, outdoor activities, games, and networking.
PARKING: Participants will be allowed to drive their cars to their cabins to drop off their gear on Friday night, but cars will be parked for the weekend at Raccoon Run. We anticipate a large group and some may have mobility issues, but our main concern is safety! We will utilize some kind of shuttle service around camp as needed. Your cooperation in this request is genuinely appreciated for the safety of everyone.
SATURDAY WORKSHOPS will be offered. There are 4 sessions, and many interesting opportunities! Some workshops have a fee and/or supplies you will need to bring with you. Some workshops may fill up fast, so be sure to sign up as soon as you can!
A reminder that NO ALCOHOL (even unopened) is allowed on Girl Scout property… don’t worry–we will have plenty of fun without it!
