POSITION: Manager, Adult Development
Reports to: Chief Operations Officer
Location: Any of these council office locations: Pittsburgh, Edinboro, Kittanning, Greensburg, Johnstown
General Statement of Duties: responsible for identifying and coordinating the appropriate learning path for volunteer and staff roles so the right information is shared at the right time in ideal ways for optimal adult learning

Essential Functions:
• Develop a comprehensive, learning path for each volunteer and staff role by identifying what each needs to know, when they need to know it and what method is best for delivery in order to best accomplish the position/assignment objectives;
• Conduct needs assessment, interpret council, customer and market data, and adapt learning path strategy and implementation plan as needed;
• Vet internal and external learning tools and resources and adapt as needed for optimal implementation;
• Provide support and expertise to council staff to customize learning tools and resources as needed to meet varying customer needs;
• Create tools and resources needed in collaboration with content owners including online modules, face-to-face courses and opportunities and printed tools;

Minimum of bachelor degree in Adult Development, Adult Education or related degree; minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience managing professional staff/volunteers; minimum of 4years of work experience in related field with proven customer engagement/training and or volunteer management; minimum of 4 years with adult education strategy development and implementation and resource development experience; must have valid transportation and be able to travel throughout Western PA; clearances required; EOE

Summer camp employees will participate in pre-camp training and assist in the daily operations of camp; successfully pass a criminal background check; have the ability to work as a team member; a flexible schedule and live in a camp community. All meals and boarding are provided.

Residential Summer Camp Nurse
Camp Redwing, Renfrew, PA

Come join our Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania family at Camp Redwing in Renfrew, PA! Redwing is a traditional Girl Scout camp with a 90 year history of serving girls in the Pittsburgh Area, and all of Western PA. Nestled in the small town of Renfrew in Butler County, Redwing gives girls the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors while hiking, swimming, and canoeing on the majestic Connoquenessing Creek which runs through the camp. We have lots of fun all summer and make great memories, but sometimes we get bumps and bruises along the way! That’s why we need you! The Camp Nurse will be responsible for the general health and safety of campers and staff, perform first aid in emergencies, dispenses and account for all medications, and keep all health records. EMT, LPN or RN License is required; RN is preferred; minimum age required is 21; $500/week.

RN, LPN or EMT needed for Girl Scout summer camp in Avonmore; Armstrong County; responsible for the general health and safety of campers and staff.
