POSITION: Camp Director
Reports to: Director, Outdoor Experience
Location: Camp Redwing, Renfrew, PA; Butler County; Western PA
(office location could be Kittanning or Pittsburgh)
General Statement of Duties: responsible for managing all aspects of leadership and program delivery for Camp Redwing in Renfrew, PA; development of outdoor program plans and implementing outdoor program including resident camps.
Essential Functions:
• Ensure that camp and outdoor leadership program experience offerings are based on the Girl Scout Leadership Experience, customized to address the needs, preferences and interests of girls, and implemented to meet designated leadership program outcomes;
• Guide the utilization of national curricula and support volunteers in enriching and tailoring the experience based on girl’s needs and interests;
• Oversee all associated program components to include program costs, quality specification, staff and volunteer delivery, and risk management;
• Plan and monitor the launch and implementation of all related council sponsored/endorsed camp events;
• Supervise seasonal and year-round staff responsible for program delivery and implementation;

Bachelor's degree in education or related field; min. 2 years experience in outdoor education and program development for youth; candidate must be self-motivated and self-disciplined; archery, NRA, canoeing and lifeguarding certifications a plus; min. 2 year supervisory experience; have excellent organization and communication skills, and the ability to work evenings and weekends; must have valid transportation and be able to travel; clearances required; EOE

POSITION: Executive Assistant
Reports to: CEO & COO
Location: Pittsburgh/North Shore
General Statement of Duties: The Executive Assistant provides a wide variety of administrative and support services to the organization in a confidential, accurate and timely manner. The incumbent has the additional responsibility of administrative clerical duties in support of the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Operations Officer and the Board of Director Committee Chairs as required.

Essential Functions:
• Prepare and produce correspondence, reports, minutes, etc., for the CEO, COO, officers of the Board of Directors, board committees and task forces in accordance with established procedures;
• Coordinate compilation, production and distribution of board meeting agenda, minutes and supporting documentation;
• Perform advanced confidential administrative support duties requiring knowledge of the organization policies and practices;
• Give appointment reminders, arrange and confirm meetings, and make travel arrangements as needed;
• Recognize and handle confidential matters appropriately;

2 yr degree or college level program in business administration, office management or related field; min. of 3 years administrative experience which includes providing office and administrative support to upper management staff; candidate must be self-motivated and self-disciplined, have excellent organization and communication skills; clearances required; EOE

POSITION: Recruitment Specialist
Reports to: Director, Recruitment & Retention
Location: 1 position in Greensburg or Johnstown; 1 position in Pittsburgh or Beaver
General Statement of Duties: Responsible for developing and executing effective recruiting strategies to increase awareness and participation in Girl Scouting through a variety of in person meetings, presentations, and networking opportunities with community organizations, corporations, schools, educators, faith-based institutions and other community constituents. The incumbent is responsible for securing girl and adult volunteer participation and community partnerships through community cultivation, lead generation and follow-up.
Essential Functions:
• design and/or implement a comprehensive plan for girl and adult membership growth in targeted areas by researching market data, membership trends, and other pertinent information relevant to designated geographic areas;
• implement membership recruiting and marketing strategies outlined in the strategic plan and annual business plan through cultivation and organization of communities to generate increased girl and volunteer needs;
• prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets to reach membership goals;
• study and become proficient in girl and adult related trends, multi-cultural data and demographics, effective communication and marketing techniques in order to effectively implement a membership plan;

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, sales, or related field; minimum of 2 years of work experience in related field with proven, member recruitment and customer engagement success; candidate must be self-motivated and self-disciplined, have strong marketing and people skills, have excellent organization and communication skills, and the ability to work evenings and weekends; must have valid transportation and be able to travel throughout Western PA; clearances required; EOE
