The goal of this patch is to convey the rich culture and exciting activities for all ages that are in our own backyard. Butler County has abundant opportunities for everyone to experience museums, festivals, nature, art, culture and unique stores all nearby. Take a step back to examine the unforgettable aspects that make up our local area.

To complete this patch you have to do the required items: two Skill Builders and one Service Project from each category, and one from the Technology category.

Negotiation is a great way for people to reach an agreement that makes everyone happy or better off. Instead of initiating an argument in which no one is a winner, follow these steps to learn about negotiation and how to ask for what you want! This program is designed for Girl Scout Juniors, who can earn the Win-Win patch by completing six program activities.

The Discover the World Patch is focused on intercultural exploration and budget travel. To complete the patch, girls choose between activities ranging from trip planning and interviewing international travelers to participating in local volunteer projects. Linking Girls to the Land Patch

Discover, Connect and Take Action by earning a Linking Girls to the Land patch for Girl Scout Brownies though Girl Scout Ambassadors.

Linking Girls to the Land(LGTTL) is an interagency partnership between Girl Scouts of the USA and federal natural resource agencies. LGTTL encourages partnerships between Girl Scouts and federal natural resource agency representatives on local and national levels to offer more joint conservation and outdoor projects to 2.8 million Girl Scout across the country.

Girl Scout Brownies, Juniors, Cadettes, Seniors and Ambassadors are eligible to wear the Get with the Land Patch and receive an official certificate from the Girl Scouts of the USA LGTTL national committee when they complete the patch criteria. The patch order form, certificate and more information about LGTTL are available through your local council and the LGTTL Web site and www.girlscouts.org.

The popular Water Drop Patch Project, co-produced by Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA) and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has been given a face-lift!

The newly revised Water Drop Patch Project Manual inspires Girl Scouts to learn about water quality and to take action to protect and restore local water resources. Aligned to the Girl Scout Leadership Experience, this manual is now available online and in print.
