Get ready for an out of this world experience as we explore Lake
Arthur after hours on a glowing standup paddleboard (SUP) for one of
our most popular SUP events! Your glow standup paddleboard adventure
begins with a sunset paddle including friendly, personal instruction
for new paddlers (beginners welcome!). Once the sun is down, we
illuminate the aquatic world beneath your feet with LED lighting and
glow necklaces to explore the nocturnal life at Moraine State Park
with an experienced guide from SurfSUP Adventures.
The activity is suitable for all skill levels and first-timers
of paddleboarding are welcome. SurfSUP Adventures will provide all
instruction, a guide, and all necessary gear and safety equipment,
including glow necklaces, bracelets, and LED board lights. Plus they
will share free photos of your adventure afterwards!
Girl Scouts will receive a Standup Paddleboard fun
patch. Seniors will earn their Paddling badge (not included).
Participants must be 11 years at the time of the
event or older.
Adults can register as
either a participant (meaning they get to go out on the water) or a
non-participant (meaning they will stay on shore). All adults must
register so we can ensure Girl Scouts are coming in ratio.
***Adult supervision for the duration of the
event is required. Girls must attend with a parent/guardian or troop
leaders (following ratio). All attending adults must register. This
allows us to confirm ample space and supervision in advance of the
event. No tagalongs are permitted.***
