Be sure to save a copy of a PDF form to your computer before filling it out. Otherwise, it will not save the information you've entered.

Before filling out a PDF form:
1. Download/save the form to your computer by clicking on the download/save button or by right-clicking on the form and choosing "Save As."
2. Open the form from where it was saved on your computer, fill out the form, and then click File > Save.
Older versions of Acrobat Reader might also not save the form information that you've filled in. Be sure you have the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader. Download.

If using an iPad or iPhone to fill out a PDF form, you must download a PDF reader app.

1. Download the free Adobe Acrobat Reader App.

2. Find the form you wish to open and click on it. Select "Open In" and then choose 'Copy to Adobe Acrobat.' The form will open in the app.

3. Fill out the form in the Acrobat app and either email or print it. If you wish to save it to your device, you'll need to have an Adobe Document Cloud account. The easiest way to retain a copy of the form for your records would be to email it to yourself and save it to a computer.
