About 25 minutes south of Erie and less than a two-hour drive from Pittsburgh, Camp Hawthorne Ridge boasts more than 200 beautiful, wooded acres with hiking trails that lead all over camp, including down into the gorge.
Camp Hawthorne Ridge is a fun, economical place to stay for troops or families visiting the many area attractions including Presque Isle State Park and Waldameer Park and Water World. The camp is a snowy wonderland in the winter with cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and sledding offered on the property.

Mikayla "Daisy" Kirschner has worked various positions at Camp Hawthorne Ridge over the last few years and is now the camp director! She likes her marshmallows crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside. You can find Daisy hiking the trails and enjoying all things outdoors!
