Lions and tigers and bears and Girl Scouts - OH MY!! Step into the
magical world of Oz with our friends over the rainbow at Mad Science
of Pittsburgh for a hands-on science adventure!
Girl
Scouts will explore the wonders of air pressure by floating their very
own flying monkeys, create dazzling tornadoes in bottles, and mix up
ruby red glitter slime worthy of Dorothy herself. From rainbow
chemistry experiments to homemade hovercrafts, Girl Scouts will
discover the magic behind the science in this fun-filled
workshop!
Already heading out to see The Wizard of Oz
come to life on the Pittsburgh Ballet stage that afternoon? This
morning event could make for a great add-on to make it a day of fun in
Pittsburgh!!
Due to limited space in the Mad Science Lab,
all attending adults must register. Troops must be in ratio, and/or
only one adult per individual girl can register. All other
participants will receive a fun patch.
***Adult
supervision for the duration of the event is required. Girls must
attend with a parent/guardian or troop leaders (following ratio). All
attending adults must register. This allows us to confirm ample space
and supervision in advance of the event. No tagalongs
permitted.***
