Who wants to throw some axes?!?! If that sounds like a good time (and
it is!) then we have the perfect event coming up on May 27th from
6-8PM for Girl Scouts and their troop leaders and caregivers!
Steel City Axe is a place where you can come and experience this new
form of entertainment! Axe throwing is a sport that is rapidly growing
across the globe.
Location: Johnstown, PA
Join fellow Girl Scout Juniors, Cadets, Ambassadors, as well as their
troop leaders and caregivers, and spend 2 fun filled axe throwing
hours together! Not only will this be a cool experience for all, but
you will be relieving stress and also providing yourself a full-body
workout (specifically for the shoulders, lats, and core) without even
realizing! The axe will be thrown around 12 feet, giving the body a
great workout!
You will enjoy the challenge of learning a new
skill, competing with friends, experiencing the thrill of hitting a
bull's-eye, and just hanging out with other Girl Scouts while doing a
new activity.
Steel City Axe also has axe-throwing games you can
partake in, upping the friendly competitiveness with one another. Axe
throwing is not just a game-it's an unforgettable experience!
The owners will be on hand the entire time, explaining the rules and
regulations, as well as making sure everyone is practicing safety
guidelines. Not only this, but Girl Scout volunteers who have also
been properly trained will be present as well, ensuring the safest
environment for everyone.
***Adult supervision for the
duration of the event is required. Girls must attend with a
parent/guardian or troop leaders (following ratio). All attending
adults must register. This allows us to confirm ample space and
supervision in advance of the event.***
