Nothing screams celebrating Halloween more than spending the day at
an amusement park, dressed in your favorite costume (optional)- except
maybe the squeals of joy from the top of the Wild Mouse!
HALLOWBOO! is one of the best family-friendly Halloween-themed
adventures in the region, including the ever-popular trick-or-treat
trail through Story Book Forest, themed shows, and costume characters,
all among the backdrop of autumn in the beautiful mountains of
Pennsylvania.
This event takes place in Westmoreland
County, Pennsylvania. Specifically, it's nestled in Ligonier
Township.
Join Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania on Saturday,
October 18th for a fun filled day at Idlewild Park and Hallowboo in
Ligonier, PA!
Share the excitement of an unforgettable
day at the world's best children's park! For over 147 years, Idlewild
has created magical moments for parents and kids to experience
together. Full of unique adventures, the park has been recognized as
one of the top destinations for family fun in the country! Girl Scouts
and their families are invited to spend the day at one of the state's
oldest family-run amusement parks. Registration includes admission for
the amusement park, Girl Scout activities, along with a surprise
character appearance from 1-1:30 at the pavilion!
Girl
Scout staff will be on hand running activities from 11:30 a.m.-1:30
p.m., but event costs cover admission for the entire day. The
amusement park opens at 11am and staff will be on hand to start
checking people in at this time. The park is open until 6 p.m.
Already have season passes for Idlewild Park? If so, you are
eligible for a discounted fee! Just $3 per Girl Scout with season
passes (adults with season passes do not need to register).
***Adult supervision for the duration of the event is required.
Girls must attend with a parent/guardian or troop leaders (following
ratio). All attending adults must register. This allows us to confirm
ample space and supervision in advance of the event.***
