Bring your Girl Scout "flock" to experience one of our most
popular annual events with our incredible partners at the National
Aviary.
Through hands-on activities and up-close animal
experiences that help girls work toward art and animal badges. Girls
will meet our bird experts, investigate how to keep pet birds happy
and healthy at home, and learn about ornithological research (the
study of birds) and bird conservation around the world.
This
event is open to all Girl Scouts of all ages and their families.
This open-house style special event will be ran by staff and
volunteers from The National Aviary, as well as staff from GSWPA.
Activities include: expert-led talks, the chance to meet birds
up-close at an Animal Ambassador Meet & Greet, special Girl Scout
educational and craft activities, and tons of fun through daily
activities offered by the National Aviary!
Attendees will
receive a fun patch.
