Pre-requisite: Girl Scout Cadettes must successfully complete Program
Aide Foundations Training before attending Program Aide Skills
Training.
During Program Aide Skills Training - you will
put your foundations training to the test and gain valuable experience
to prepare you for working with younger Girl Scouts. Program Aide
candidates will gain hands-on experience with fire building, leading
songs and games, Girl Scout safety, how to teach arts and crafts, and
other skills required to be a successful Program Aide.
Attendees will cook their own lunch as part of the training. All
supplies and activities are included in the training cost. Upon
successful participation in the Program Aide Skills Training, Cadettes
will receive a custom GSWPA Program Aide patch, the Program Aide
award, and a certificate of completion.

Adult supervision for the duration of the event
is required. Girls must come in ratio as a troop or with a caregiver.
All attending adults must be registered for the program. This
registration fee covers the cost of the adult lunch. This allows us to
confirm ample space and supervision in advance of the event.
