The new SMURFS movie is coming to AMC Cinemas in Altoona, PA and a
theatre room is being reserved just for Girl Scouts and their family
and friends!!
Join fellow Girl Scouts and their families are you
get a behind the scenes tour of this amazing theatres' projection room
along with seeing the just released "Smurfs" movie! There
will also be a Girl Scout table set up, manned by a Girl Scout
professional, in case you have any up and coming little ones or
friends who may be interested in becoming a Girl Scout
Location: Duncansville, PA
Smurfs is an animated fantasy
film coming soon to theatres. The evil wizard Gargamel (Hank Azaria)
has plagued the happy, peaceful Smurfs for a very long time. Finally,
he succeeds in chasing the little blue people from their village and
through a magic portal -- which transports them to Manhattan and into
the life of ad executive Patrick Winslow (Neil Patrick Harris). Only
three apples high and lost in the Big Apple, the Smurfs (Jonathan
Winters, Alan Cumming, Katy Perry) must find a way back to their world
before Gargamel tracks them down.
Preregister with your fellow
Girl Scouts, troop leaders, and family members to come and not only
see this action packed movie, but you will also be given the
opportunity to go behind the scenes before the movie starts and see
AMC Theatres' projection room, where all the magic happens, as well as
visit our Girl Scout table!
***Adult supervision for the
duration of the event is required. Girls must attend with a
parent/guardian or troop leaders (following ratio). All attending
adults must register. This allows us to confirm ample space and
supervision in advance of the event.***
