Who's ready to experience a kaleidoscope of colorful birds from all over the world and discover how birds "paint the sky" with their luminous plumage? Join our partners at the National Aviary for a special, hands-on program exploring Avian Colors.

Bird feathers come in every color of the rainbow, including some we can't even see! How does this remarkable coloration help birds to hide from predators, recognize each other, and more? And how can we use the unique colors of each species to identify different birds in our backyards and beyond? Learn all about the wild rainbow of avian colors.

Registration includes admission to the National Aviary. Participants can enhance their experience by purchasing tickets for additional Animal Encounters, Lorikeet Feeding, and the immersive bird show at the admissions desk following the program.

Adult supervision is required for the duration of this event. All adults must register to ensue ample space. No tagalongs.
