Our Annual Meeting is a great way to participate in our council's
business and network with our Girl Scout family. Our bylaws require an
Annual Meeting of the corporate membership-comprised of board members,
the board development committee, and council delegates. All members 14
years and older are invited to attend.
The meeting agenda
includes:
* Updates on council business and governance
decisions.
* Voting by council delegates on the board of
directors, board development committee, and girl advisory
committee.
* Proposals under consideration for the National
Council Session in July 2026.
* Presentation of awards to
outstanding Girl Scout volunteers.
Join us in-person in
Youngwood at Westmoreland County Community College - Student
Achievement Center, 145 Pavilion Lane, Youngwood, PA 15697.
Registration will begin at 8 a.m., along with the retail shop and
breakfast. All attendees are requested to check in prior to 8:45 a.m.
so we can begin the meeting promptly at 9 a.m.
Voting members
who attend in-person will be voting with a show of hands using cards.
Cards and instructions will be provided at check-in.
All who
attend the meeting are invited to stay for lunch. Lunch is a great
time to network and meet others in our Girl Scout family.
Headshots will be available during lunch. Stick around after lunch and
drop in for fast, helpful sessions with our team. Whether you're
looking for ideas, support, or inspiration, there's something for
everyone.
Retail Shop:
While attending the Annual
Meeting at Westmoreland County Community College, make sure to visit
the Girl Scout retail shop! We will have official uniform pieces as
well and great gifts and keepsakes. If you would like to place an
order to be picked up at the event, please contact the Pittsburgh shop
