The Girl Scout Teaching Leadership Training will prepare Girl Scout
Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors to lead younger Girl Scouts and
other youth in their community. In the Teaching Leadership Training
Course, you'll develop your leadership skills, learn age-level
communication techniques, and tips for planning and leading activities
for younger Girl Scouts. You'll be able to help at day camp, service
unit events, council-sponsored events, and more!
Included
in this training is a mailed Teaching Leadership Awards Training
Course manual. This book will be mailed to the address on file for the
Girl Scout at the close of registration. This is a live, interactive,
virtual program hosted by GSWPA Staff via Zoom. You will need access
to the internet and a computer/tablet/phone with audio/video
capability to participate.
Girl Scouts who complete the
Girl Scout Teaching Leadership Training course will receive a custom
fun patch and certificate.
Caregivers are responsible for
monitoring online activities. All Girl Scouts, as well as their
caregivers, must read, agree to, and abide by the Girl Scout Internet
Safety Pledge when going online.
All Teaching Leadership
Training Courses must meet a minimum of 8 Girl Scouts to run.
