Lights, camera, action, Girl Scouts!

Have you ever wondered what happens behind the scenes of a TV show or radio broadcast? Now is your chance to find out! Join us at PennWest Edinboro for an exciting, hands-on career exploration experience inside the broadcast media studios.

Girl Scouts will explore professional television and radio equipment, learn how news and media content are created, and meet college students who are studying careers in broadcasting, journalism, and production. From stepping in front of the camera to speaking into a live studio microphone, Girl Scouts will get the opportunity to see how it all works and even try it themselves.

This interactive program is perfect for Girl Scouts who love storytelling, performing, technology, or working behind the scenes. Whether you dream of being on air or running the show from the control room, this event will introduce you to the many exciting career paths within broadcast media.

Adult supervision for the duration of the event is required. Girls must come in ratio as a troop or with a caregiver. All attending adults must be registered. This allows us to confirm ample space and supervision in advance of the event. Activities are for girls only.

No tagalongs permitted.
