Who's ready to sharpen their scientific skills and uncover the
fascinating qualities that make rainforests so essential to our
planet!?!?
Embark on an expedition into the dynamic realm
of rainforests with our favorite bird experts at The National Aviary!
Through engaging classroom exploration, Girl Scouts will learn about
the diversity of animals that call this habitat home.
After learning all about rainforests, participants will have an
exclusive encounter with a remarkable rainforest animal, offering a
unique opportunity for observation and discovery. Then they will
venture into National Aviary's Tropical Rainforest habitat to conduct
firsthand explorations of the incredible biodiversity that thrives in
these lush environments.
Registration includes admission
to the National Aviary - which opens at 10 a.m. Participants can
enhance their experience by purchasing tickets for additional Animal
Encounters, Passport to Parks, feedings and more at the admissions
desk upon arrival.
Adult supervision is required for the
duration of this event. All attending adults must register to ensue
ample space. No tagalongs. If you purchase tickets to The National
Aviary separate from the educational portion of this program for
additional guests not registered through GSWPA, they will not be able
to attend the Rainforest Realms Adventure event due to spacing.
