Everything changes when the sun goes down and the moon rises high in
the night sky.
Join us for a special guided hike under
June's Strawberry Moon, and experience the trail in a whole new light.
As we explore, you will discover the fascinating world of nocturnal
wildlife and enjoy the peaceful beauty that only nighttime in nature
can offer.
On this memorable adventure, L.L.Bean guides
will teach you how to prepare for a safe hike, review essential
equipment, and introduce Leave No Trace principles before heading out
as a group. The hike will cover easy to moderate terrain, with time to
pause, take in the scenery, and enjoy the glow of the full moon.
Have your cameras or phones ready, you will not want to miss
this view. Headlamps will be provided.
Please come
dressed for the weather in comfortable, activity-appropriate clothing
(synthetic layers are recommended) and sturdy shoes suitable for
hiking. Be sure to bring a daypack with at least one quart of water.
You may also want to bring insect repellent and any personal
medications you may need, such as an inhaler or EpiPen.
Adult supervision for the duration of the event is required. Girls
must attend with a parent/guardian or troop leaders (following ratio).
All attending adults must register and pay. No tagalongs
permitted.
