Holiday Card Art Contest
Our annual Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania Holiday Card Art Contest is back! We're on the hunt for a remarkable, original piece of art to feature on our council’s annual holiday card.
The Girl Scout with the winning artwork will receive a $50 Amazon gift card, just in time for the holiday season. Their work of art will also be featured on our council’s holiday card, which will be seen by businesses, supporters, and community members across western Pennsylvania!
When designing your artwork, please be mindful that our Girl Scouts celebrate various holidays this time of year. Please avoid using objects in your artwork that may represent only one holiday, such as Christmas trees, menorahs, etc.
Theme
Every Girl Scout has something uniquely special to share—a curious mind, a creative spirit, a kind heart, a brave voice, or a passion to serve. That’s why the theme of this year’s holiday card is What Makes Me Shine.
Show us what makes YOU shine! We're asking Girl Scouts to draw or illustrate an original piece of art. With your submission, complete the sentence, “I shine when I ____” and include a brief explanation of what you drew or created.
Eligibility
Artwork must be original and created by a Girl Scout from Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania. The contest is open to Daisies through Ambassadors! All mediums and formats are encouraged and accepted. The deadline for submissions is Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2026.

To officially enter the Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania Holiday Card Art Contest, use the form below to submit your information and your work of art. If for any reason you have trouble uploading your file, please contact Melissa Gawlinski at mgawlinski@gswpa.org. Also, if your masterpiece is selected as a finalist, you may be asked to mail it to one of the Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania offices. This excludes works that are digital photos or videos.
