Using the Girl Scout Brand
It is the goal of Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania to communicate the brand promise of Girl Scouts. Thank you for partnering with us to represent the amazing things that our girls are doing to change the world. With everything we create, we aim to stay true to our brand and the values it represents—leadership, sisterhood, and inclusion.
All of us who communicate about Girl Scouts play a role in protecting the brand identity and in using it to spread the word about Girl Scouting!
We have expanded our resources for volunteers, including a Branding Guide for Volunteers and Canva templates for flyers, graphics, and parade banners.
Our Branding Guide for Volunteers includes topics such as:
- Fonts and colors
- The Girl Scout Trefoil
- Our council servicemark/logo
- Creating patches, T-shirts, and parade banners
- Use of photography
- How to write/talk about Girl Scouts
- Troop/service unit social media and website guidelines
