Girls entering kindergarten through twelfth grade in the fall are invited to join Girl Scouts by participating in an early-registration program with Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania. Take advantage of this limited-time promotion for new members and get up to 18 months of membership starting immediately, through September 30, 2026. That's 18 months of membership for $63. These members can join existing troops or start a new troop.
Get Ready for School with Girl Scouts
Girls entering kindergarten and first grade in the fall of 2025 can register now as a Girl Scout Daisy and receive three fun, skill-building activity books filled with games, crafts, and stories that help prepare them for school. Becoming a Girl Scout Daisy allows girls to make new friends from their community and partake in age-appropriate, engaging activities designed to help them gain important social skills and discover the world around them.
The Girl Scout Experience: Growth, Leadership, and Confidence
With the help of supportive adults and troop leaders, Girl Scouts experience hands-on activities in subjects ranging from STEM and the outdoors to life skills and entrepreneurship, making Girl Scouts natural leaders in the classroom, at home, and in their communities. Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania is proud to highlight the impact of these experiences, showcasing how Girl Scouts develop confidence, leadership, and real-world skills that prepare them for the future. Recent examples include:
- Scarlett Nagy, a Girl Scout Hero, who used skills learned in Girl Scouts to save a life during an emergency. Her quick thinking and courage embody the confidence and preparedness instilled by Girl Scouts.
- STEM Sisters: Future History Makers, where Girl Scouts gained hands-on experience with cutting-edge science and technology, preparing them to be tomorrow’s innovators.
- The Heart of Camp: A Story of Growth and Confidence, highlighting how Girl Scout camp experiences empower girls to step out of their comfort zones, try new activities, and build lifelong confidence.
- Exploring Government Careers, an opportunity where Girl Scouts engaged with government leaders and discovered how they can shape the future through civic involvement.
