All Safe: Over 100 Girl Scouts and Volunteers Evacuated from North Park Amid Rising Waters

More than 100 Girl Scouts and volunteers were safely evacuated from North Park today due to rising waters caused by a severe storm that moved through the area. The Girl Scouts were attending a volunteer-led day camp at the park. We are grateful to the emergency personnel who responded to the scene and to the Girl Scout volunteers who acted quickly to ensure the girls’ safety.
