Celebrate Girl Scouts’ Legacy with a Birthday Bash Across Western Pennsylvania
On Monday, March 10, from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Girl Scouts from across western Pennsylvania will come together to celebrate 113 years of Girl Scouting, honoring the legacy of our founder, Juliette Gordon Low. This special event will not only commemorate the birthday of the Girl Scouts but also highlight Women’s History Month and the importance of empowering young girls to take the lead in their communities.
Since its founding in 1912, Girl Scouts has provided millions of girls with opportunities to develop courage, confidence, and character to make the world a better place. Inspired by Juliette Gordon Low’s vision, today’s Girl Scouts continue to embrace leadership, service, and adventure. The birthday celebration is a fantastic opportunity for current and prospective Girl Scouts to come together, connect, and learn more about the incredible experiences Girl Scouts offers.
The free birthday events will be held at five locations across western Pennsylvania: Clarion, Cranberry, Edinboro, Greensburg, and Johnstown. This event is free, but you must RSVP to attend. And don’t wait, a few locations are already full!
As part of our commitment to giving back, attendees are encouraged to contribute to a special service project: building birthday kits for local food pantries and shelters. These kits will bring joy to children and families facing hardship, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to celebrate their special day.
