Get ready for an outdoor adventure like no other.
Join
L.L.Bean for a geocaching experience where Girl Scouts will learn how
to use GPS technology to locate hidden "caches" in nature.
This real-world treasure hunt combines navigation skills,
problem-solving, and teamwork in a fun and engaging way.
L.L.Bean instructors will teach the basics of geocaching, including
how to read coordinates, navigate to cache locations, and follow
geocaching guidelines. Along the way, participants will explore the
outdoors and build confidence in their navigation skills.
Please wear comfortable clothing and close toed shoes for walking on
trails. Bring water and any personal items needed for outdoor
activity.
Adult supervision for the duration of the event
is required. Girls must attend with a parent/guardian or troop leaders
(following ratio). All attending adults must register and pay. No
tagalongs permitted.
