Build confidence in the outdoors by learning essential survival
skills with L.L.Bean.
In this interactive, hands-on
program, Girl Scouts will learn how to safely build a fire, construct
a basic shelter, and understand key backpacking essentials.
Instructors will guide participants through practical skills that are
useful for camping, hiking, and future outdoor adventures.
This experience is designed to be both educational and fun,
giving Girl Scouts the opportunity to try new skills and challenge
themselves in a supportive environment.
Please wear
comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and closed-toe shoes. Bring
water and any personal items needed for outdoor activity. Sunscreen
and bug repellant is extremely encouraged!
Adult
supervision for the duration of the event is required. Girls must
attend with a parent/guardian or troop leaders (following ratio). All
attending adults must register and pay. No tagalongs permitted.
