It's Your World- Change It! Journey (virtual, self-paced) April-June 2022

This journey series helps girls understand what it means to be a leader who makes a difference in the world through unique leadership and advocacy challenges.

This is a great opportunity for Girl Scouts to complete their Journey as a pre-requisite for their Gold Award or Silver Award. Girl Scouts from other councils are welcome to register.

Silver Award Workshop Webinar 06-01-22

The Girl Scout Silver Award is the highest award for Cadettes Girl Scouts in Grades 6-8th.  It’s a leadership adventure where you will develop more confidence, meet new people, and have the kind of fun that happens when you make a difference in the work. Going for the Silver Award gives you the chance to show that you are a leader who is organized, determined, and dedicated.  In this two-and-a-half-hour workshop, you will explore what it takes to become a Silver Award Girl Scout – time requirements, funding policies, procedures, what resources you will have to help you along the way, and examples of previous Silver Award projects. Bring your parents and troop leaders along.

Silver Award FAQ and Brainstorming Session 06-07-22

Join GSWPA staff and the Silver Award Committee to answer your Silver Award questions and help brainstorm possible project plans. This session is for girls and troop leaders who have already attended a Silver Award workshop or webinar.

Highest Award Volunteer Overview 06-29-22

Learn all about the Highest Awards in Girl Scouts - The Bronze, Silver, and Gold - and how to support your girls in earning the awards. In this virtual webinar, you will learn the progression of each award, what components are needed for a project to be a higher award, your role as a volunteer, and the process to lead your girls.

Help with Registering
  • Scroll through the activities listings to find an activity or event that interests your girl.
  • Use the Advanced Search option to seach by location, program level, or date.
  • When searching for virtual events, use zip code 15212 to view all our virtual event offerings. To search for virtual events designed for your girl, click on Filter from the search results page and add a grade level.
  • Once you find an activity or event that interests you, click the Register Now button and sign in to your Member Community. 
  • Select the members of your household or troop you want to register. Enter payment information and confirm your registration. 
  • Save or print your receipt from the Confirmation page. You can also click on My Activities in the top menu of your Member Community to view activies with completed registration and view additional details.

Registration Confirmation

You'll see a detailed receipt on your screen upon completion of the registration process. This receipt is your activity registration confirmation. If you do not see a detailed receipt, you have not fully completed the registration process. If this happens to you, please contact Customer Care at for assistance. For some council activities, you will receive a confirmation letter via email with more activity information.

To view a list of your current activity registrations, log in to your MyGS and click MyActivities. Clicking the information icon next to each activity will provide you additional information.

Refunds & Cancellations

Summer camp 2022: Click here to view our camp refund and cancellation policy.

All other Activities: Refunds will be given when:

  • GSWPA cancels council activity
  • Financial Assistance is not awarded and the registrant has made a partial payment
  • Registrant cancels their registration by the posted registration deadline for programs/training
  • Registrant cancels their registration within two weeks of their summer camp start date 

Refund requests submitted after these deadlines will be considered when a registrant cancels due to illness, family illness, or family emergency and approved by Council.

Refunds will NOT be given for deposits, late arrivals, early departures, no shows, or participants who leave due to behavior or due to dissatisfaction. Financial Aid will not be refunded to members upon cancellation of activity. 

Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Refunds could take up to 30 days to process.  

Note: If you want to transfer your registration to another member, please use the Transfer Request Form


If you can’t attend a council activity for which you registered and for which you paid fully, you can request that the registration be transferred to another active member of Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania. To make this request, complete the Transfer Registration Request form. Requests must be submitted at least 3 business days before the council activity. Note: Financial Aid cannot be transferred.

Late Registration and Late Payment

To ensure that we have the proper amount of supplies and adult supervision available, we do not allow registrations to be processed after the posted registration deadline with the exception of waitlist registrations. Registrants who are on a waitlist will have their registration processed if a spot opens up after the registration deadline. The registration deadline that is listed with the council activity is the last date that you can register for the council activity.

If you have not paid in full by the registration deadline, your registration may be cancelled and partial payment may not be refunded.
